This past week the district0x team delivered on several previously outstanding tasks. On Tuesday the bi-weekly Dev Update was published, detailing the current project statuses of Meme Factory, the District Registry, Name Bazaar, and Ethlance. Overall, development resources are shifting from largely being focused on Meme Factory back to a more parallel development model.
The Q1 2019 Report was also published this past week. A key excerpt from the summary regarding the longevity of the project —
“Due to steps taken to cut costs during the market downturn last year, and this year’s subsequent recovery, the project remains on solid financial footing with more than 6 years of runway in Ether reserves at current run rates.”
In other good news, NameBazaar names have been successfully rescued! Astonishingly, not a single transaction failed, and all 5674 names were transferred back to their owners. A more detailed announcement regarding this issue was also published this week.
And finally, the Justin Sun — Warren Buffet Meme Contest wrapped up with a bang. Out of 8 submissions, 3 were granted prestigious entry by way of community voting into the Meme Factory Registry. And of those 3, the meme with the highest overall sales, and contest winner is:
