The District Weekly — January 18th
News and updates from the district0x Network
This past week the district0x team was actively putting out a small technical fire related to the launch of the District Registry. Although the formulas for staking were proven to be mathematically sound, the numbers being generated for certain staking curves were not user friendly (i.e. appearing not to be 1:1 for flat curve staking, and in some cases only getting small fractions of voting tokens). It was decided to redesign the default amount of District Voting Tokens generated upon staking for the various curves to make the numbers more relatable, rather than dealing with very odd staking ratios of DNT:DVT. The full technical update on this will be covered in our bi-weekly dev update this coming week. As always, thank you to our community for your patience and we look forward to finally releasing this product that we have all been actively driving towards the finish line.

In what some might quantify as a meta topic of discussion, we conducted an AMA stream to allow the community to choose the upcoming stream content. As always, our fearless host Brady led this talk, diving into some core project introspection with our community.
Stay tuned for our regular community livestream every other Tuesday at 3PM PDT (11PM UTC) as a forum for discussing recent updates to the district0x Network. You can join us on Twitch.
